As profiled in Vancouver Magazine’s Power 50, a list of top leaders in Vancouver, Rory consults and manages special projects and campaigns for a broad range of business and political clients in Vancouver, as well as abroad.
Always inspired by a challenge and the values she holds dear, she catalyzed a landmark LGBTQ victory with her representation of beauty contestant Jenna Talackova in her fight against now President Donald Trump to compete in the Miss Universe Pageant. Alongside famed human rights lawyer, Gloria Allred, Rory pioneered a campaign that circled the globe and was successful in forcing a historic rule change and catalyzing a watershed human rights moment for the trans community worldwide.
When she is not working you can find her volunteering on the front lines of the refugee crisis overseas, spending time with her family or indulging in her not so secret passion of dancing tango.

Hats off to Rory Richards for bringing to the Vancouver International Film Festival what has got to be the world’s most recognizable celebrity.
I’ve been to many different events and festivals over the years, but the one that stands out is one I moderated for Vince Gilligan to honor the final episode of Breaking Bad in Vancouver. The degree of professionalism, expertise and yes, FUN, that I experienced at that event was due in large part to Rory Richards. Her passion for her role showed at every level, from the way she handled the talent to the way she engaged with the fans, transforming what could have been a fairly traditional event into an outright celebration. I truly cannot wait to work with Rory again.Damon Lindelof
