Rory Richards has been a dynamic force in business in Canada for over 18 years. With a strong background in politics, strategy and stakeholder relations, Rory has been a critical force behind numerous, successful political campaigns.
As profiled in Vancouver Magazine’s Power 50, a list of top leaders in Vancouver, Rory consults and manages special projects for a broad range of business and real estate clients in Vancouver, as well as abroad. Most recently she has focused her attention to modular building construction. Rory attended the Real Estate Division of the Sauder School of Business at UBC, and studied property development at Langara College.
Rory also has deep roots in the Canadian Film & Television industry, with many of it’s most prominent figures among her clients.
Always inspired by a challenge and the values she holds dear, she catalyzed a landmark LGBTQ victory with her representation of beauty contestant Jenna Talackova in her fight against now President Donald Trump to compete in the Miss Universe Pageant. Alongside famed human rights lawyer, Gloria Allred, Rory pioneered a campaign that circled the globe and was successful in forcing a historic rule change and catalyzing a watershed human rights moment for the trans community worldwide.
When she is not working you can find her volunteering on the front lines of the refugee crisis overseas, spending time with her family and working in her community.
She is of both Jewish and Indigenous background hailing from the Shíshálh (Sechelt) Nation.
